ITEM 7036. 19TH CENTURY OIL ON
CANVAS PORTRAIT of attractive young woman. Stylistic similarities
to a signed portrait in the Castleton (Vermont) Historical Society
point toward James Hope (best known for his landscapes) as the
probable artist. Small repair to a tear in the canvas, the frame
is likely original. Sight size is 11 ¾"W x 13 ½"H.
