ITEM 7688. OIL ON BOARD PORTRAIT
of a distinguished young gentleman seated in a red side chair
and holding a book. American, likely painted in the Mid-Atlantic
States, C. 1815. Painting is presented "as found" with
no restoration and is housed in the original frame. Some minor
paint loss as shown. Portrait is fresh to the market and more
appealing than the photos would indicate.
